Safety
Report a concern
Tell us if a website published on UK-CIC.com, at an address like your-name.uk-cic.com, looks misleading, unsafe or unlawful. Every report is read by a member of the UK-CIC.com team.
Report a website if it
- asks for passwords, bank details or payments it should not
- pretends to be another person or organisation
- contains harmful, hateful or illegal content
- uses your photos, writing or other work without permission
- shows personal information without permission
- is spam or misleading
Send a report
The report form opens on forms.uk-cic.com. It asks for the web address of the page, what is wrong and, if you want a reply, your email address.
The form needs JavaScript turned on for its anti-spam check.
What happens next
We review every report. If a website breaks our rules, we can take it offline while we look into it, and we may contact the people who run it. If you gave an email address, we may contact you for more information.
If it is urgent
- If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
- If you have shared bank or card details, contact your bank straight away.
Concerns about an organisation rather than its website
If your concern is about how an organisation is run rather than what its website says, contact the organisation or the body that regulates it, such as the charity regulator for a charity or the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies for a CIC.
